We were extremely happy with the high-quality and abundant fruit harvested. During fermenatation, we used both punch down and pump over techniques to ensure balanced extraction of flavor, aromatics, structure and color. To allow both the sweet and structural influences from the barrels to intermingle seamlessly with the rich fruit and ripe tannins of the wines, we aged the wines in 100% French oak, 60% was new.Ruby Red with scarlet highlights. Boysenberry and dark plum delights the nose with subtle hints of cassis and toasted wood. On the palate, this full-bodied wine is layered in rich flavors of dark cherry, pomegranate, and dark chocolate. Bold and Robust with a velvety texture, this wine is balanced by freshness and mild acidity.
